Cushing’s is characterized by heavy hair coat, crusty neck, lack of energy and eating disorders. Little is known about this condition but it is believed hormonal and insulin production problems are factors. Overview Adren-FX is a herbal formula often used with horses with Cushing’s Syndrome. Symptoms can be seen to improve in approximately 2 weeks from introduction of Adren-FX with blood sugar and hormone levels beginning to normalize which is indicated by decreased thirst and increased energy levels. The effect on thick hair coat may take somewhat longer to be observed.
